Managing availability of these Shipping and Payment methods is not possible with default Magento 2 configuration.
Magento 2 Payment & Shipping by Customer Group Extension developed by Meetanshi helps you control Payments & Shipping Methods effectively based on the Customer Groups of your Magento 2 store requirement. The extension makes the management to access to both Payment and Shipping Methods easy. For example, if you have a VIP group of customers having more business with you, you can set free shipping and COD payment methods only available to them. Thus you can prioritize your customer groups and grant access and restrict Payment and Shipping methods of your Magento 2 store.
The E-commerce store will have different customer groups to handle such as VIP customers, Guest visitors, etc. and they are offered payment and shipping method accordingly. The module easily manages this situation by allowing you to display or hide these methods to specific customer groups.
