The purpose is to eliminate multiple navigational steps before the admin can start the actual work. Follow the below steps to change the admin startup page in Magento 2.
Set the admin startup page to the most used or frequently required page. This will quicken their daily task and skip the unnecessary repetitive navigational steps.
Steps to Change the Admin Startup Page in Magento 2:
- Login to Magento 2 admin panel
- Go to Stores > Configuration
- Under Advanced, select Admin
- Expand Startup Page
- Select the desired page from the dropdown menu.
- Save the configuration
That’s it.
