5. Product Capacity Increased to 2,048 Variants Per Product
The previous limit of 100 variants (options) has been massively increased to 2,048 variants.

6. New POS Hub for Retail Reliability
A new piece of hardware, the POS Hub, ensures your in-store checkout never drops a connection. It provides rock-solid, wired connectivity and has built-in processing power to keep data flowing seamlessly.
It integrates wired connectivity and an MFi Authentication Coprocessor for iOS devices, meaning fewer connection dropouts and faster transaction times, especially during peak holiday rushes.
7. Collaborate & Earn Commissions
This feature is only available to the US merchants that allows them to surface complimentary products from other Shopify brands in their store’s search, collections, and post-purchase pages. You earn a commission on every sale from this discovery.
This feature acts as an internal, high-trust affiliate network, helping merchants diversify their offerings without holding inventory, increasing AOV and customer satisfaction.
8. AI-Enhanced Chargeback Management
It uses AI to automatically generate detailed dispute summaries when a chargeback occurs.
The AI compiles all necessary evidence, like delivery tracking, customer history, and your store policies, to build a compelling case for the bank, significantly increasing the likelihood of winning disputes.
9. Shop Pay Expansion
Shop Pay is solidifying its global position and is now available in the UK with terms up to 24 months.
Shop Pay now officially integrates with Global-e, ensuring a seamless, high-converting checkout experience for international orders handled by Global-e.
10. Voice-Powered Sidekick and Mobile Quick Sale
Sidekick is now accessible via voice chat in the Shopify mobile app, allowing merchants to manage complex tasks while on the go.
Furthermore, a Quick Sale feature has been added to the mobile app, allowing any merchant to quickly accept payments in person (via Tap to Pay or payment links) using only their phone.
