MIT Request Quote & Hide Price for Shopify - User Guide
The Hide Price Request For Quote app for shopify allows you to hide product prices and replace them with a customizable quote request button. This is useful for B2B businesses or stores that sell custom, bulk, or negotiable products.
Prerequisites: Enable the App
Once you’ve installed the app, go to Online Store > Themes > Customize. Then, enable the app in the app embeds.

Then, save the settings. Now, you can configure the app and start using it.
Enable Hide Price & Request for Quote in Shopify
In the app Configuration section, you can enable or disable the app and change the appearance of the hide price feature.
- App Status: Enable the app status and apply the settings to your store.
- Do You Want to Hide Price: Select Yes to hide the product price and replace it with a “Request for Quote” button.
- Call for Price Scope: You can hide prices for:
- Global (all products)
- Specific products
- Specific collections
- Telephone Required: Choose if you want to collect mobile numbers in request for quote form
- Show Country: Show country dropdown display in the inquiry form.
- Enable Call for Price As: Decide how the quote option should appear, either as a button or label.
- Button / Label Text: Add the text to get displayed on the request quote button and label.
- Button / Label Background Color: Select background color for the button and label.
- Call for Price Form Title: Customize the title of the popup or form that appears when customers click the button.
Save the configuration settings and view the frontend of the store.

Once the app is configured, the price will be hidden on applicable products with a button for request for quote. The app hides product prices on both the collection and product pages.

On clicking the request for quote button, a popup form will open where the customers can enter details and submit the inquiry. On successful submission, email notifications will be sent to both customer and store admin (you can configure these email templates from the app.)

Manage Products for Hide Price & Request a Quote
In the app’s Products tab, you can view and manage all the products for which the price is hidden.

Manage Quote Inquiries Received from Form
In the Inquiries tab, you can see quotations form submissions by customers. This list can also be exported to CSV so that you can follow up later.

Manage Templates for Email Notifications
In the app, the Email Settings tab allows you to customize the templates for admin and custom notifications for inquiries. This section is divided into four main tabs: Admin Template and Customer Template. You can also have a preview of both templates.
Admin Template
Set the email content that will be sent to the admin when a customer submits an inquiry. Use dynamic tags like {!! $name !!}
,{!! $email !!}
, etc., to display customer details in the email.

Admin Template Preview
View a live preview of the admin email with sample data. This helps verify how the email layout and customer details (like name, email, message, product info) will appear in the actual email.

Customer Template
Create the auto-reply email that will be sent to the customer after they submit the call for price form. Customize it with dynamic placeholders such as {!! $name !!}
and {!! $store_name !!}
to personalize the message.

Customer Template Preview
Shows how the customer email will appear. Use it to review formatting, tone, and content before finalizing the template.
