Magento 2 CMS is a popular platform for online business. It is not limited based on the location. However, stores in different countries have to be configured based on their time zones, location, week format, tax rules, etc. The default Magento 2 offers options to configure Magento 2 stores and time zones<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These settings help to configure the store based on the time zone of its country. Also, certain shipping options are dependent on the location. I\u2019ll show you how to configure these settings in the stepwise tutorial!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method to Configure Magento 2 Stores and Time Zones:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Login to Admin Panel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Navigate to Stores > Configuration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. From the left side navigation menu, select the General<\/strong> tab under the General menu. Here you\u2019ll find the locale and store information dropdown menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Time Zone<\/strong> \u2013 Set the time zone of the store<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Locale<\/strong> \u2013 Choose the language of your store\u2019s country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Weight Unit<\/strong> \u2013 Select the unit of weight used in the country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • First Day of the Week<\/strong> \u2013 Select the first day of the week that is considered as per the country\u2019s standards for the store.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Weekend Days<\/strong> \u2013 Select the weekends that are considered as per the country\u2019s standards for the store.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    5. Save<\/strong> the configuration and clear cache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Moving on to the Store Information drop-down menu, configure the settings as shown in the figure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Store Name<\/strong> \u2013 enter the name of the store<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Store Phone Number<\/strong> \u2013 Enter the contact number of your store.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Store Hours of Operation<\/strong> \u2013 define the store\u2019s hours of operation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Country<\/strong> \u2013 select the store\u2019s country<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Region\/State<\/strong> \u2013 enter the state where your store is located<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • ZIP\/Postal Code<\/strong> \u2013 enter the zip code of your store\u2019s city<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • City<\/strong> \u2013 enter the store\u2019s city.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Street Address<\/strong> \u2013 enter the store\u2019s address<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Street Address Line 2 <\/strong>\u2013 use this field, if required, to enter the remaining or elaborate address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • VAT Number <\/strong>\u2013 Enter the VAT number of your store to ensure errorless VAT calculation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      8. Save<\/strong> the configuration<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. Navigate to System > Cache Management > Flush Magento Cache<\/strong> and clear the cache<\/p>\n\n\n\n
