One such tactic is to let customers subscribe to the out of stock products and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/meetanshi.com\/blog\/magento-2-back-in-stock-notification\/\">get notifications when back in stock<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How about implementing this trick without any 3rd party extension?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s possible now with a default configuration to\u00a0enable \u201cnotify me when back in stock\u201d for Magento 2\u00a0stores. The feature is available in Magento 2 OpenSource and Commerce Edtion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Admin can enable this feature for registered customers. There are two types of notification: price change alert and in-stock alert. Admin is allowed to select the email template for each notification Email and set the alert Email sender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Steps to enable \u201cNotify me when back in stock\u201d for Magento 2:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Enable Out of stock products display in frontend<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to&nbsp;<strong>Stores &gt; Configuration &gt; Catalog.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In<strong>&nbsp;Product Alerts,<\/strong>&nbsp;set<strong>&nbsp;Allow Alert When Product Comes Back in Stock&nbsp;<\/strong>to YES<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/meetanshi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/1_Stock-Options.png\" alt=\"1_Stock-Options\" class=\"wp-image-4038\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.
