You can do it by accessing the following URL in the browser (with your Shopify admin signed in):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>https:\/\/yourshopifydomain\/admin\/bulk?resource_name=Product&amp;edit=metafields.global.style,metafields.global.warehouse_location<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Replace the store domain, resource name, and metafield name per your requirements. This will create a new metafield in Shopify, which&nbsp; you can bulk edit and save.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/meetanshi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/3-create-and-bulk-edit-metafield-in-shopify.png\" alt=\"Create and bulk edit metafields in Shopify\" class=\"wp-image-32679\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well that\u2019s how you can Shopify bulk edit metafields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"alternate-method-to-bulk-edit-in-shopify-using-excel\">Alternate Method to Bulk Edit in Shopify Using Excel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Shopify bulk edit feature allows you to easily make changes in bulk right from the admin. But still if you need more flexibility, you can use spreadsheet tools, such as Excel instead of Shopify bulk editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To do that, you first need to export the selected entries into a&nbsp;<code>.csv<\/code>&nbsp;file, edit it in Excel and import the file back to Shopify. Excel offers more powerful features to edit Shopify fields as you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s understand this through an example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Suppose you want to set the compare at price of products in bulk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can do this by following these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Shopify admin, select all products and click&nbsp;<strong>Export<\/strong>. Now select appropriate export options, select&nbsp;<strong>CSV for Excel&nbsp;<\/strong>and click&nbsp;<strong>Export products<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/meetanshi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/4-export-products-in-shopify-for-bulk-edit-in-excel.png\" alt=\"Export products from Shopify to bulk edit in Excel\" class=\"wp-image-32680\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, open the downloaded&nbsp;<code>.csv<\/code>&nbsp;file in Excel and use your desired formula to increase the compare at price.
