In this blog post, I am going to cover everything related to importing products to Shopify along with an example for a better explanation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let&#8217;s begin!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"method\">Method to Import Products to Shopify Using CSV File<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, uploading thousands of products to Shopify manually during the platform migration is never a good decision. The reasons \u2014 it&#8217;s time-consuming and is prone to human errors. Thanks to the default functionality of Shopify that allows uploading products in bulk through CSV. Here are the easy-to-follow steps to import products to Shopify using CSV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step1\">Step 1: Create &amp; Format Products CSV File<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First things first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You need a product CSV file to upload your products to Shopify in bulk. You can do this by exporting your products from the admin panel of your existing eCommerce platform. Here are some important points you need to consider while formatting the CSV file:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The first line of the file must be the column headers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Separate each column by a comma.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The maximum allowed file size is 15 MB.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After formatting the product CSV file, you are ready to go for the next steps to import products to Shopify using CSV.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step2\">Step 2: Go to Shopify Admin &gt; Products &gt; Import<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Log into your Shopify admin, and click on <strong>Products<\/strong> in the sidebar present on left. Shopify will display a preview of the first product in the CSV file, review it, and ensure that everything is correct.
