Magento 2 facilitates store owners to create new admin user in Magento 2<\/a> to get the store managed by multiple people and assign multiple admin roles to administer it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, when there are multiple admins, it is a must for store owners to monitor their tasks and keep an eye on their performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do so, the store owner can configure the admin action log in Magento 2 Commerce version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the open-source version, the admin can install Meetanshi\u2019s Magento 2 Admin Action Log<\/a> for monitoring the tasks of multiple admin users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a store owner, you can view the log history, the activities of each admin, and hence manage the admins who run your store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Magento 2 action log includes the IP, name, and date which gives better insights to the store owner about the activities and performance of the store admins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steps to Configure the Magento 2 Admin Action Log Report:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Log in<\/strong> to admin panel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Go to Stores > Configuration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Select Admin<\/strong> under Advanced<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Expand the Admin Actions Logging<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Enable the admin actions logging<\/strong> checkboxes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Save<\/strong> the configuration<\/p>\n\n\n\n
